A super British-grown plant that has pretty green and cherry red succulent leaves and yellow flowers.
It is good for patio pots and baskets. It will survive winter outside in some parts of Britain but is not frost tolerant.
It also makes a great and unusual houseplant. It is poisonous and may cause irritation when ingested or touched.
Sedum rubrotinctum is also commonly known as the jelly-bean plant, or pork and beans. It has been nicknamed as such as its small leaves look like beans.
