Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’
Pot size: 3 litre.
This delightful shrub has a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit and an RHS Perfect Pollinator.
It likes a spot in full sun in a moist, well-drained, fertile soil and eventually grows to a height and width of 2.5 metres in a compact and rounded shape with some tendency to spreading.
This fully hardy prunus is a fetching, delicate, deciduous that flowers in late winter and early spring with crimson buds on its wiry twigs.
The buds open into pale pink flowers. The young leaves are pale green, but they grow darker with age, becoming an array of red and orange in the autumn.
Don’t forget all our hardy plants come with a five-year hardy plant guarantee.
