Plum (Prunus) Czar
Pot size: 12 litre.
A self-fertile (so does not need a pollinator) bush plum (St Julien rootstock). A dessert plum that’s ready to pick in August.
It has medium-sized, dark purple fruit with yellow flesh. A reliable cropper.
It also has a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
Will tolerate most soils, except very chalky or poorly drained ones, in a position of full sun. Flowers April/May with white blossoms. British-grown.
A bush fruit tree is a freestanding tree. It has a short (between 60-80cms) straight trunk when planted before the initial branches that form a rounded crown eventually. Once planted it will grow from the ends of its branches while the trunk stays the same height.
Don’t forget all our plants come with a five-year hardy plant guarantee.
Please don’t worry if your plant arrives looking slightly different to the image here. Plants can look different depending on the time of year when purchased. Available all year round.
