Pot size: 12 litre.

A bush pear (Quince C rootstock) that produces an excellent quality eating fruit, that’s even reliable even in years of spring frosts. Its sweet and juicy pears can be picked early September and stored until October.

Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Flowers in April with white blossoms. Grows to a height 2.5-3 metres. British-grown.

A bush fruit tree is a freestanding tree. It has a short (between 60-80cms) straight trunk when planted before the initial branches that form a rounded crown eventually. Once planted it will grow from the ends of its branches while the trunk stays the same height.
