Broad bean Aquadulce Claudia Seeds
You can’t beat fresh, young broad beans picked from your own allotment, patio pots or raised veggie beds. This hardy annual has a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
It is the best broad bean for autumn sowing. Simply overwinter the plants outside and harvest early the following spring. But the seeds can also be sown in the spring too for summer crops of beans that you can freeze for autumn/winter eating or have fresh in salads minutes after picking them from your garden.
The plants prefer full sun and can be grown in larger containers on patios as well as in plots or beds. The plant produces slender pods that around 23cm long. The plants grow to a height of 1m and spread to 45cm.
