Alpine strawberries are delicate versions of the ones you see in Grow Your Own plots.
They enjoy growing in shady conditions and are perfect for ornamental gardens as an edging for paths.
They pretty much care for themselves and can be left to their own devices after planting.
They bear fruit during the summer months and can tolerate a variety of soils. British-grown.
To eat the fruit, put a handful in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar, crush gently and leave for 10 minutes or more. They are then juicy with a decent tang!
Don’t forget all our plants come with a five-year hardy plant guarantee.
Please don’t worry if your plant arrives looking slightly different to the image here. Plants can look different depending on the time of year when purchased.
