A true virtual garden centre

Pre-order plants for 2016 at 2015 prices from Potter & Rest

GARDENERS planning next year’s displays are able to pre-order their plants for 2016 at this year’s prices.

Any plants that are out of stock due to seasonality can be pre-ordered at the virtual garden centre www.potterandrest.co.uk.

Peter Burks, Horticultural Expert at www.potterandrest.co.uk, said: “Now is the perfect time to start planning next year’s gardens and we’re giving customers the opportunity to pre-order their plants so as soon as they come into stock, they will be shipped out ready for them to plant. The best bit is that they will pay this year’s prices, so if the price increases next year, they won’t have to pay the difference.

“Everything people could possibly want for next year’s gardens is available for pre-order including salad plants, summer flowering bulbs and some of the more unusual plants such as the Rubus spectabilis Double Form.

Available to pre-order for 2016.

The Rubus spectabilis ‘Double Form’ or Salmonberry is a vigorous suckering deciduous shrub, which grows eventually to approximately 1.5 metres tall.

It will do well in any soil and in any aspect excluding heavy shade, and produces double pink flowers in April.

www.potterandrest.co.uk also provides a free personal shopper service for gardeners who need help with particular areas of their patches, patios, greenhouses or plots.

It also offers a free ‘seek and find’ service for any customers who haven’t found what they’re looking for. The website’s team of horticulturalists will use industry contacts to help source the plants gardeners require.

www.potterandrest.co.uk aims to be the largest ‘true’ garden centre online with free expert advice available to gardeners via telephone and social media backed by a five-year plant guarantee.

There is an emphasis on British grown plants and products wherever possible and some of the products and plant collections are not currently available in other garden centres in the real or virtual world.

The e-garden centre hopes to appeal to all levels of gardeners from complete novices to keen amateurs and on to expert gardeners.
