We’re rockin’ the variegated Photinia Red Robin

Posted on March 04, 2014 by Potter & Rest

Peter gives us his thoughts on the variegated Photinia Red Robin…

“I must admit when I first saw this variegated version of the Photinia Red Robin I wasn’t sure that the combination of the cream variegation and red new leaves would work but I have to say that I really appreciate it now.

“It’s a good colour combination that’s just a bit different. It is a hardy evergreen shrub that will grow to about six feet tall with a similar spread. You can keep it trimmed if you want to keep it a little smaller and to keep it looking neat and rounded. It prefers a sunny spot but will be happy in all soil types.”

Are you planning to plant any Photinia Red Robins this year?
